WEDDING CATERING

Weddings at The Mudcastle have been catered for up to 110 guests with gourmet BBQs, continuous finger food, sitdown buffets, plated menus and sumptuous medieval banquets so don't be afraid to ask if you would like something different.  

Pre-dinner nibbles for guests, a nibble selection for the bridal party to enjoy over photos, a cheeseboard to be served on the coffee buffet during the dancing - all are possible.  

Once your wedding menu is confirmed with our contracted caterer, a $750.00 catering deposit is payable to The Mudcastle. For your convenience, we will include the catering cost on The Mudcastle invoice so that the need to make lots of payments to separate businesses after your wedding is minimised.

Menus and Prices

Wedding catering is different from all other events in that it often has to span a much longer period of time. Examples of the various components that may be involved in making up your food requirements throughout the day can be viewed by clicking on the required links below. Feel free to mix and match different priced options from any of the categories you require.

 Alternatively, you may write your own menu and ask for it to be costed.

Charging for children

Where children do not have their own chair and their own placesetting at the table, there is no catering charge.

For children up to 9 years old with their own placesetting, 25% of the menu cost is charged.

Ten and eleven year olds, 35% of the menu cost is charged.

Twelve years and over are charged full price.
