HONEYMOON SUITES

Our three honeymoon suites are unique and all different. Sumptuously decorated, they are fit for a king and queen.

	The Peach Suite is semi detached and comes complete with an outdoor bath that is surrounded with fairylights. Honeymooners in this suite can also enjoy an exclusive private swimming pool that spills down to a larger pool some distance below.    "What a peaceful, private, secluded and special place for our wedding night. 	The Gold Turret is a two storey medieval styled retreat which stands apart, exquisitely appointed to capture the romantic imagination and pamper the senses. Couples who decide on The Mudcastle as their wedding reception venue will receive their honeymoon suite free of charge for their wedding night as our gift to you. (Value $395.00)

Our Champagne Package ($445.00) is extremely popular with bridal couples wanting some additional special touches and is also available as a $50.00 upgrade for couples who choose The Mudcastle as their wedding venue.

For couples who wish to retreat to The Mudcastle for their honeymoon after their reception elsewhere, we are happy to collect and chauffeur you here as part of our Honeymoon Suite Package. Just arrange to be collected the following day or for your car to be left at The Mudcastle the night before. A chauffeured pickup from your reception venue, a night in a honeymoon suite of your choice with all the trimmings, a substantial breakfast brought to your suite at a time of your choosing the following morning and a relaxed checkout deadline. Cost $495.00 incl GST.

GUEST ACCOMMODATION

All accommodation at The Mudcastle is exclusively dedicated to your wedding as it is impractical for non-wedding guests to stay while your wedding is in full swing underneath them. 

We prefer that you allocate the accommodation as you wish and will refer on to you any wedding guest accommodation enquiries so that there is no chance of rooms being double booked.

The total cost of all guest accommodation following a wedding reception at The Mudcastle is charged at the special post wedding rate of $1500.00 including GST. (If all rooms were booked casually for a night, this would be $2165.00 including GST). Alternatively, should you wish to enjoy The Mudcastle in its entirety with no wedding guests staying, the charge is $1000.00 including GST.

Accommodation costs are usually reimbursed to you by the guests staying in each room. To help you allocate rooms and/or divide the cost, the single room rate including breakfast and GST is $110.00 (usually $135.00), the twin single room rate is $165.00 (usually $205.00),double room rate is $165.00 (usually $205.00), a queen room rate is $195.00 (usually $230.00) and suite rate is $350.00 (usually $395.00). Details of the accommodation can be found in the Accommodation section of the site but, in brief, we have 1 single room (The Apricot Room), 1 twin room (The Lilac Room), 2 double rooms (The Yellow Room and The Green Room), 1 queen room (The Pink Room) and 3 suites (The Peach Suite, The Rose Suite and The Gold Turret) in total available for the wedding couple and their chosen overnight guests. 

An additional single bed may be added to The Pink Room, The Peach Suite or The Rose Suite if required. The cost for this service is $90.00 including GST. The Pink Room and The Rose Suite may be altered to Twin rooms if required at a cost of $50.00 including GST per room.

Breakfast.

A substantial breakfast is served in the main turret for all overnight guests and is included in the special wedding accommodation rate. If the bride and groom wish to have their breakfast served separately to their suite, there is a charge of $50.00 including GST for this. Additional guests who are unable to be accommodated are able to come for breakfast as another option. Cost is $30.00 per person including GST. Breakfast following a wedding is generally requested for some time after 9.00am - we fully recognise everyone has had a huge day the day before.

Check-in/Check-out.

Overnight guest check-in for weddings is strictly after the ceremony. Check-out the following day is generally midday but is dependant on whether there is another function booked.

Payment.

The accommodation charge is added to the main wedding account. Subject to what arrangements you have made in this regard, guests will either reimburse you for their accommodation or pay us and it be deducted from the final amount owing.
