HONEYMOON SUITES

Our three honeymoon suites are unique and all different. Sumptuously decorated, they are fit for a king and queen.

	The Peach Suite is semi detached and comes complete with an outdoor bath that is surrounded with fairylights. Honeymooners in this suite can also enjoy an exclusive private swimming pool that spills down to a larger pool some distance below.    "What a peaceful, private, secluded and special place for our wedding night. 	The Gold Turret is a two storey medieval styled retreat which stands apart, exquisitely appointed to capture the romantic imagination and pamper the senses. Couples who decide on The Mudcastle as their wedding reception venue will receive their honeymoon suite free of charge for their wedding night as our gift to you. (Value $410.00)

Our Champagne Package ($460.00) is extremely popular with bridal couples wanting some additional special touches and is also available as a $50.00 upgrade for couples who choose The Mudcastle as their wedding venue.

For couples who wish to retreat to The Mudcastle for their honeymoon after their reception elsewhere, we are happy to collect and chauffeur you here as part of our Honeymoon Suite Package. Just arrange to be collected the following day or for your car to be left at The Mudcastle the night before. A chauffeured pickup from your reception venue, a night in a honeymoon suite of your choice with all the trimmings, a substantial breakfast brought to your suite at a time of your choosing the following morning and a relaxed checkout deadline. Cost $510.00 incl GST.

GUEST ACCOMMODATION

All accommodation at The Mudcastle is exclusively dedicated to your wedding as it is impractical for non-wedding guests to stay while your wedding is in full swing underneath them. 

We prefer that you allocate the accommodation as you wish and will refer on to you any wedding guest accommodation enquiries so that there is no chance of rooms being double booked.

The total cost of all guest accommodation following a wedding reception at the Mudcastle is $1300.00 incl GST (if all rooms were booked casually for a night, this would be $2140.00 incl GST). Alternatively, should you wish to enjoy The Mudcastle in its entirety with no wedding guests staying, the charge is $1000.00 incl GST.

Accommodation costs are usually met by the guests staying in each room; single room rates including breakfast and GST are $100.00 (usually $135.00), double room rates are $150.00 (usually $205.00), a queen room rate is $170.00 (usually $230.00) and suites are $300.00 (usually $410.00). Details of the accommodation can be found in the Accommodation section of the site but, in brief, there are 2 single rooms (The Apricot Room and The Lilac Room), 2 double rooms (The Yellow Room and The Green Room), 1 queen OR twin room (The Pink Room) and 3 suites (The Peach Suite, The Rose Suite and The Gold Turret) in total available for the wedding couple and their guests. 

An additional single bed may be added to The Pink Room, The Peach Suite or The Rose Suite if required. The cost for this service is $90.00 incl GST.

Breakfast.

A substantial breakfast is included in the room rate. Additional guests who are unable to be accommodated are able to come for breakfast only as another option. Cost is $30.00 per person incl GST. Breakfast following a wedding is generally requested for some time after 9.00am.

Check-in/Check-out.

Unless the venue has been hired for an early check in, and provided the bride does not want this time for herself and her bridal attendants to relax and get ready in before the ceremony, overnight guest check-in for weddings is strictly after the ceremony. Check-out the following day is generally midday but is dependant on whether there is another function booked.

Payment.

The accommodation charge is added to the main wedding account and, subject to what arrangements you have made in this regard, deducted as guests pay on departure. Guests may pay for their accommodation with Mastercard, Visa, Eftpos, cheque or cash.
