CASTLE TEAS                                                                         

This is an option for smaller groups to visit The Mudcastle on a Sunday afternoon (or any other weekday if you prefer) but we must have a minimum of 10 people booked on any given day. Once this number is reached, additional bookings of any size can be taken so, if you are thinking of treating someone special to a drive in the country and a Castle Tea and Tour on a Sunday afternoon, please ring Kevin or Glenys on 543 2113 to avoid disappointment.

So what is a Castle Tea?

We will be serving a selection of Mini Scones with Jam and Cream, Buttery Shortbread, Spicy Gingerbread Fingers and Fresh Fruit Skewers together with your choice of Tea, Coffee or Juice in the Main Banqueting Turret of the castle and you may choose to have this before or after your guided tour.

The Tour of  The Mudcastle will take approximately 15 - 30 minutes (but has been known to take an hour for those asking lots of questions) and it will take you, guided by one of us, through the home we have built from the clay on the property. The Mudcastle is not open to the public on a casual basis at any other time so this is your chance to have a look through our home and a Gift Voucher for one of these events may provide a solution for the 'hard to buy for' category.

Castle Tea on its own $15.00 per person incl GST

Castle Tour on its own $7.50 per person incl GST

Castle Tea and Tour $20.00 per person incl GST

Instead of a hot Tea or Coffee, enjoy a Wine or Beer with your Castle Tea for $20.00 incl GST

Upgrade your Castle Tea to a Royal Tea with a glass of Port or Baileys for $23.00 incl GST
